VIDEO: A$AP FERG – ‘NANDOS’

 


Class is in session as A$AP Ferg unleashes the back-to-school-themed video for “Nandos” off his recently-released mixtape, Still Striving.

Filmed inside of an abandoned school, Ferg acts as a professor, lecturing in front of attentive pupils. Elsewhere in the clip, the Trap Lord raps on top of a pile of old books and in the spacious school yard. Children skate around the filthy halls and ride bikes outdoors, while others get haircuts in the bathroom.

The visual also plays out like an adidas ad. In fact, it features several pieces from Ferg’s adidas Skateboarding x Trap Lord collection. Plus, it includes a nod to Nando’s, a popular chicken restaurant chain.

“We was in the PJ, flying high, fucking up Nando’s,” he raps on the track. “Landed in Cannes for a couple bands, that was the plan though.”

Recently, Fergivicious spoke about the food-inspired lyric during an appearance on First We Feast’s “Hot Ones.” “That was definitely a real experience,” he said. “First time I was on a private jet, I had some Nando’s waiting for me.”

Upon its release, Still Striving debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy is expected to move between 30-35,000 EAU (7-9,000 traditional) in its first week out.
