NEW MUSIC: KODAK BLACK FEAT. MR. FLIPPER – ‘LIL SHOOTA LOVE’

                                    Lil Shoota Love

Kodak Black takes it back to the ’80s for “Lil Shoota Love,” a collaboration with Mr. Flipper.

Over a sample of Zapp’s classic “Computer Love,” which provides a laid-back sound bed, Project Baby raps about his diamonds, snipers, and Willy Wonka, before referencing the track that inspired him. “Computer love?” he raps. “You caught a virus.”

Flipper goes back-and-forth with Kodak, with lyrical nods to Metro Boomin and YG’s DJ Mustard-produced “Left, Right.” “Everything I bust down, I’m trying to double twice,” he raps. “Come short on that money, I’m on your head like lice.”

“Lil Shoota Love” is just the latest loose track to come from the prolific Kodak. This month alone, he’s dropped “No Flockin 2 (Bodak Orange),” “Conditioned (10 Toes Down Challenge),” and a remix to Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.”

Last month, Kodak released his latest mixtape, Project Baby 2, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
