Kid Ink jets to Bangkok in the video for his latest 7 Series single, “Sweet Chin Music.”
Directed by Wilmore, the sunny visual showcases the capital city’s monuments, architecture, and busy, traffic-filled streets. It also finds the Batgang boss rhyming about wrestling in front of graffiti-filled walls and shaking hands with the locals.
“Made it outta hell with this Undertaker flow,” he raps. “Now I flip the money up and I do the tombstone.” Later, he adds: “Gettin’ to the money, not a question, ni**a / Know you see The Rock like I’m wrestlin’, ni**a.”
Named after Shawn Michaels’ famous finishing move, “Sweet Chin Music” is the latest single off Kid Ink’s 7 Series mixtape, which dropped in May. In fact, it is the seventh video from the 8-track project. So far, the only song from the effort that hasn’t received a visual has been “Bad Lil Vibe.”
